Se estudió el efecto de cuatro dosis de biol: 1000 (T2), 2000 (T3) y 3000 (T4) L/ha, comparados con un testigo sin biol. Al campo experimental se le aplicó 100 Kg/ha de nitrógeno. Las variables consideradas fueron: número de hojas/planta, altura de planta, grosor del tallo. Las evaluaciones se realizaron a los 33, 40, 46 y 53 días después de la siembra; el rendimiento y el diámetro de la inflorescencia se determinó a los 65 días después de la siembra. Los resultados mostraron que la altura de planta y el mayor número de hojas, se logró con 2000 L biol/ha, superando estadísticamente a los demás tratamientos; el tratamiento testigo alcanzó el menor valor en todas las variables estudiadas. El mayor rendimiento; se obtuvo en el tratamiento T3 (2000 L biol/ha) con 0.53 t/ha; superando a los tratamientos T4 (0.52 t/ha), T2 (0.36 t/ha), y T1 (0.00 t/ha).
