Resultados: No se apreciaron diferencias significativas respecto a las variables grupo etario, sexo, estado civil, paternidad/maternidad, tiempo de servicio, profesión y condición laboral entre los trabajadores con o sin estrés ocupacional (p>0.05), la frecuencia de bajo desempeño laboral en el personal de salud asistencial con estrés laboral fue de 31%, la frecuencia de bajo desempeño laboral en el personal de salud asistencial sin estrés laboral fue de 8%, el estrés ocupacional tiene influencia en el desempeño laboral del personal de salud asistencial con una razón de prevalencias de 5.5 el cual fue significativo (p<0.05). Conclusión: Existe vinculación entre el estrés en el trabajo y el desempeño laboral del Personal de Salud Hospital II-1 Moyobamba entre agosto y septiembre del 2024.

Material and methods: An analytical, cross-sectional study was carried out in which 200 health workers were included, according to selection criteria which were divided based on the presence or absence of work stress, the chi-square test and the prevalence ratio statistic were calculated. Results: No significant differences were observed regarding the variables age group, sex, marital status, parenthood/parenthood, length of service, profession and employment status between workers with or without occupational stress (p>0.05). The frequency of poor job performance in healthcare personnel with occupational stress was 31%, the frequency of poor job performance in healthcare personnel without occupational stress was 8%, occupational stress has an influence on the job performance of healthcare personnel with a prevalence ratio of 5.5 which was significant (p<0.05).
