RESULTADOS. Las variables que sí mostraron asociación estadística con la hipoglicemia del recién nacido fueron: antecedente de diabetes materna y de estrés perinatal. No se demostró asociación estadísticamente significativa, de hipoglicemia neonatal con: sexo del recién nacido; vía de culminación del parto; uso de medicamentos durante el trabajo de parto; inducción o estimulación con ocitócicos; retardo de crecimiento intrauterino; antecedente de hipertensión materna inducida por el embarazo; presencia de Síndrome de aspiración de líquido amniótico meconial; peso al nacer.
