El enfoque utilizado en la investigación fue la cuantitativa, el tipo de investigación descriptivo de nivel correlacional, en cuanto a las técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos se utilizó la encuesta y como instrumentos dos cuestionarios el primero de motivación laboral y desempeño laboral. La población estuvo conformada por 12 empleados, los mismos que fueron estimados como muestra a tratar. La conclusión a la que se llega es que existe relación significativa entre la motivación hacia el trabajo y el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores del Hotel Príncipe de Piura.

The population was made up of 12 employees, the same who were estimated as a sample to be treated.
