Daniel Hoyle, Trujillo 2024. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 estudiantes del sexo femenino pertenecientes al 4° y 5° año de secundaria. Para la recolección de datos se empleó como instrumento el cuestionario estructurado. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 28% de las estudiantes presentó un nivel de conocimiento alto, el 30% un nivel de conocimiento medio y el 42% un nivel de conocimiento bajo. Con respecto a las prácticas de autocuidado, el 36% de las estudiantes adoptó prácticas de autocuidado adecuadas y el 64% prácticas inadecuadas. Finalmente, para determinar la correlación entre ambas variables, se aplicó la prueba de Chi-cuadrado de Pearson, donde se evidenció una relación altamente significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas de autocuidado sobre las infecciones del tracto urinario, con un valor de significancia menor a P<0.05

Daniel Hoyle, Trujillo 2024. The sample consisted of 100 high school female students from the 4th and 5th year. A questionnaire was administered to assess their level of knowledge and self-care practices related to urinary tract infection. The research results show that 28% of the students have a high level of knowledge, 30% have a medium level, and 42% have a low level of knowledge regarding urinary tract infections.
