Estuvo conformado por dos grupos de estudio de 43 pacientes cada uno, los cuales requerían prescripción de dexketoprofeno o tramadol después de una exodoncia compleja. La administración fue por vía oral, en el caso del tramadol fue de 50mg y del dexketoprofeno fue de 25mg. Para determinar la efectividad analgésica de dexketoprofeno frente al tramadol se usó la escala visual analógica (0-100 mm) y se recogió la información que fue procesada por tablas estadísticas para la comparación de la percepción del dolor entre ambos analgésicos con un nivel de significancia del 5%. Resultados: Existe diferencia en la efectividad analgésica postoperatoria entre dexketoprofeno y tramadol post exodoncia compleja (p=0.008), siendo el ultimo más efectivo. It consisted of two study groups of 43 patients each, who required a prescription for dexketoprofen or tramadol after a complex tooth extraction. Administration was orally, in the case of tramadol it was 50 mg and for dexketoprofen it was 25 mg. To determine the analgesic effectiveness of dexketoprofen versus tramadol, the visual analog scale (0-100 mm) was used and the information was collected and processed by statistical tables for the comparison of the perception of pain between both analgesics with a significance level of 5%. Results: There is a difference in the postoperative analgesic effectiveness between dexketoprofen and tramadol after complex tooth extractions (p=0.002), the latter being more effective.
