Ahora, para poder alcanzar este objetivo general se plantearon los siguientes objetivos específicos: 1. Analizar la regulación legal que nuestro C.P.C., realiza respecto del curador procesal; 2. Estudiar el derecho de defensa en el proceso civil peruano y su relación con el curador procesal; 3. Estudiar la institución del curador procesal en el derecho comparado. Finalmente, y después de haber recogido la información adecuada y aplicado los métodos de investigación, se arribó a la siguiente conclusión principal: Luego de haberse realizado un estudio profundo tanto doctrinario, como jurisprudencial del derecho al Debido Proceso y del derecho de Defensa, es posible afirmar que la regulación del curador procesal, en nuestro Código Procesal Civil vigente, resulta deficiente; pues, el problema parte de la falta de profesionalidad de los curadores designados cuando representan a un demandado ausente, ya que con frecuencia actúan en virtud de su nombramiento sin examinar a fondo las circunstancias del caso.

Subsequently, the following general objective was raised: Determine whether the regulation of the procedural curator, in our current Civil Procedure Code, guarantees the adequate exercise of the right of defense of the absent litigant. Now, in order to achieve this general objective, the following specific objectives were proposed: 1. Analyze the legal regulation that our Civil Procedure Code carries out regarding the procedural curator; 2. Study the right of defense in the Peruvian civil process and its relationship with the procedural curator; 3. Study the institution of procedural curation in comparative law.
