Método: Estudio de cohorte histórica en donde se revisaron 110 historias clínicas ( 55 expuestos y 55 no expuestos ) de pacientes con AR del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray de Trujillo atendidos durante 2017-2019. Se calculó el riesgo relativo ( RR ) para el análisis bivariado y análisis multivariado para las variables intervinientes. Resultados: El 78% de pacientes con terapia combinada y el 58% de pacientes con monoterapia, presentaron remisión de los síntomas. La terapia con rituximab más MTX es efectivo en la remisión de los síntomas de AR luego de ajustar a las variables intervinientes ( RRa: 3, IC95%: 1.26 – 7.12 ) . Conclusión: El rituximab asociado a metotrexato es más efectivo que la monoterapia con rituximab en la remisión de la actividad en pacientes con artritis reumatoide.

The relative risk ( RR ) for the bivariate analysis was calculated and performed the multivariate analysis through logistic regression for the analysis of the intervening variables. Results: 78% of patients with combined therapy and 58% of patients with monotherapy presented remission of symptoms. Therapy with rituximab plus MTX is effective in the remission of RA symptoms after adjusting for the intervening variables ( RRa: 3, 95% CI: 1.26 - 7.12 ) .
