description Paita es una región importante del rubro pesquero e investigativo por su riqueza única en diversidad marina. Existe una necesidad de infraestructura que provea de espacios óptimos para estudiar, investigar, capacitar y difundir sobre investigación marina, en donde la población se involucre, aprenda y cuide de los recursos que provee su región. Es así que, se propone diseñar un centro de investigación marina bajo un proceso de recolección de información, análisis de datos, estudio de casos y normativa vigente dando como resultado final un equipamiento multifuncional que integra el contexto urbano con el paisaje natural. Se integran conceptos de sostenibilidad como el uso de paneles solares, ecoladrillos, y el emplazamiento estratégico de la volumetría para permitir una correcta ventilación natural e iluminación natural

However, in the situational diagnosis carried out, it was found that most of the existing marine equipment is artisanal fishing landing stages and that current research is dominated by productivity and capture analysis. There is a need for infrastructure that provides optimal spaces to study, research, train and disseminate marine research, where the population gets involved, learns and takes care of the resources provided by its region. Thus, it is proposed to design a marine research center under a process of information collection, data analysis, case studies and current regulations, resulting in a multifunctional facility that integrates the urban context with the natural landscape.
