description El presente trabajo de investigación presenta el procedimiento para optimizar las rutas de distribución y minimizar los costos de transporte en una empresa panificadora. La investigación fue de tipo aplicada, no experimental y descriptiva; para la recopilación de información se identificó las rutas de distribución y se realizó un análisis documental del historial de transporte; las herramientas tecnologías usadas fueron Google Maps, GPS y para el análisis de los datos, software R-Gui y Microsoft Excel. Para optimizar las rutas de distribución se hizo un diagnóstico inicial con respecto a los costos de distribución del pan, se agrupó en clústeres usando el algoritmo K- Means, se aplicó el algoritmo de ahorros de Clarke & Wright, usando programación lineal de apoyo, se determinó la ruta con el menor costo y finalmente se evaluó económicamente la propuesta en base al beneficio sobre el costo de la implementación. Se concluye que la optimización de las rutas de distribución en la empresa panadera, logro minimizar el costo del transporte en un 30.85% con respecto al costo anterior

The research was applied, non- experimental and descriptive; for the collection of information, the distribution routes were identified, and a documentary analysis of the transport history was carried out; the technological tools used were Google Maps, GPS and for the analysis of the data, R-Gui software and Microsoft Excel. To optimise the distribution routes, an initial diagnosis was made with respect to bread distribution costs, grouped into clusters using the K-Means algorithm, the Clarke & Wright savings algorithm was applied, using linear programming support, the route with the lowest cost was determined and finally the proposal was evaluated economically based on the benefit over the cost of implementation.
