description El presente documento es una tesis que expone el diseño y la justificación de un Centro Cultural Comunitario para el distrito de El Porvenir. Donde se buscó abordar las carencias culturales y sociales del distrito, proponiendo un espacio que fomente la cohesión social mediante la creación de un centro que sirva como punto de encuentro para actividades culturares y educativas. Para ello se realizó un diagnóstico situacional, donde se identificaron problemas urbanos, sociales y culturales, así como también potencialidades y oportunidades en la elección de un terreno para el emplazamiento adecuado de dicho proyecto, donde se tuvo en cuenta la accesibilidad, visibilidad, conectividad y contexto. Se establecieron los criterios de diseño, basados en principios de simbiosis, funcionalidad, flexibilidad, integración y participación, utilizando una arquitectura sensible al ser humano.La propuesta contribuye a la mejora de la calidad de vida de los habitantes del distrito de El Porvenir, al ofrecer un espacio público de encuentro, intercambio y expresión cultural, que fortalece la identidad local y promueve la inclusión social. Asimismo, el proyecto se constituye como un hito urbano que dinamiza la ciudad y la posiciona como un referente cultural.

The objective was to address the cultural and social needs of the area by proposing a space that fosters social cohesion through the creation of a center that serves as a meeting point for cultural and educational activities. A situational diagnosis was conducted to identify urban, social, and cultural issues, as well as potential opportunities in selecting land for the appropriate placement of the project. Accessibility, visibility, connectivity, and context were considered, with design criteria based on principles of symbiosis, functionality, flexibility, integration, and participation, employing an architecture that is sensitive to human needs.The proposal contributes to improving the quality of life for residents of El Porvenir by offering a public space for cultural exchange and expression, strengthening local identity, and promoting social inclusion.
