description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores de riesgo de hipertensión arterial en adolescentes de la Pastoral juvenil de la parroquia - San Patricio Florencia de Mora, 2020. El diseño fue descriptivo, no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra, estuvo constituida por 67 adolescentes de 10 a 19 años. Para la recopilación de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta, y el instrumento fue un cuestionario sobre factores de riesgos de hipertensión arterial en adolescentes. Los resultados determinaron que los factores de riesgo biológico de hipertensión arterial, en la edad existió un predominio de la etapa media. y en el sexo, hay un predominio del sexo femenino en los adolescentes. En los factores de riesgo de comportamiento o estilos de vida, los resultados determinaron, que existe un predominio de la actividad física baja en los adolescentes. En el factor consumo de alcohol y de tabaco, existe predominio de abstinencia total Por último, en los factores de riesgo clínico, según índice de masa corporal, se pudo identificar que, existe un predominio del peso saludable en los adolescentes.

The design was descriptive, not cross-sectional experimental. The sample consisted of 67 adolescents from 10 to 19 years old. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique, and the instrument was a questionnaire on risk factors for arterial hypertension in adolescents. The results determined that the biological risk factors for arterial hypertension is the age factor, in which there was a predominance of the middle stage. In relation to the sex factor, there was a predominance of the female sex in adolescents. In the risk factors for behavior or lifestyles, in the physical activity factor, the results determined that there is a predominance of low physical activity in adolescents. In the alcohol consumption factor, it was determined that there is a predominance of the total abstinent. And in the factor, tobacco consumption, there is the same predominance in adolescents.
