Del total de 53 cirujanos dentistas, 32 eran de género femenino, de los cuales 43.75% presentó conocimiento alto y 43.75% regular. En cuanto al género masculino, de 21 encuestados, predominó el nivel de conocimiento regular con un 46%. En cuanto al rango de experiencia laboral aquellos que tenían de 1 a 5 años, el 48.78% presentó un conocimiento regular; aquellos que tenían experiencia de 6 a 10 años, el 66.67% presentó conocimiento regular y los cirujanos con experiencia laboral de más de 11 años, 83.33% presentó conocimiento regular. Conclusión: Se concluyó que el nivel de conocimiento sobre manifestaciones bucales que predomina en los cirujanos dentistas de Trujillo es el regular; y que el tiempo de ejercicio profesional y el género de los cirujanos no condicionan el nivel de conocimiento resultante.

Results: 35.85% presented high knowledge about children's oral manifestations, 54.72% presented regular knowledge and 9.43% poor knowledge. Of the total of 53 dental surgeons, 32 were female, of which 43.75% presented high knowledge and 43.75% regular.
