En esta tesis propongo mejoras en el Diseño del Sistema de Gestión Documental de la Oficina de Secretaria General de la UPAO, basado en estándares internacionales que facilitará su certificación. Para el presente trabajo de investigación, realicé una serie de encuestas y entrevistas, las cuales ayudaron en el análisis correspondiente. Así mismo, se siguió en su desarrollo las etapas de la metodología de la Norma ISO 15489 *. Los logros se pueden evidenciar en las propuestas de mejoras e implementaciones sugeridas en: a) El Proceso de Archivamiento, b) El Proceso de Base de Conocimiento y c) La Propuesta de rotulado. *Norma ISO 15489: Información y documentación: Gestión de documentos

In order to carry it out efficiently, it is necessary to carry out precise actions of identification of the documents for their orderly archiving and subsequent immediate location. In this thesis presents I propose to improve the Design of the Document Management System of the Office of the General Secretary of UPAO, based on international standards that will facilitate its Certification.
