La muestra estuvo conformada por 217 adolescentes que cumplieron con criterios de inclusión y exclusión, a quienes aplicamos dos cuestionarios, el primero para determinar la frecuencia y el uso que le dan los adolescentes a los métodos anticonceptivos, y el segundo determinar la percepción de educación sexual integral y el nivel de conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos con una confiabilidad según el alfa de Cronbach de 0.856 y un índice de V de Aiken de 1 en los dos cuestionarios. Encontramos que la I.E.E José Andrés Rázuri tienen un uso poco adecuado (54%), uso muy frecuente (49%) y nivel de conocimiento medio (73%) de métodos anticonceptivos; por otro lado, la I.E.P Latino tienen un uso adecuado (55%), uso muy frecuente (49%) y nivel de conocimiento medio (76%), en cuanto a la percepción de educación sexual integral un nivel regular con el 73% y 51% respectivamente. El coeficiente de correlación de spearman fue de 0,045. < 0.05; por lo tanto, se concluye que, no existe relación significativa entre el uso de anticonceptivos y la educación sexual integral en adolescentes de dichas instituciones educativas

A quantitative study was conducted with a correlational and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 217 adolescents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, to whom two questionnaires were applied. The first questionnaire aimed to determine the frequency and use of contraceptive methods by adolescents, and the second aimed to assess the perception of comprehensive sexual education and the level of knowledge regarding contraceptive methods, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.856 and an Aiken's V index of 1. The results showed that at I.E.E. José Andrés Rázuri, contraceptive use was little suitable (54%), very frequent use was reported by 49%, and the level of knowledge was medium (73%). On the other hand, at I.E.P. Latino, use was adequate (55%), the very frequent use (49%), and the level of knowledge was medium (76%). Regarding the perception of comprehensive sexual education, the level was regular, with 73% and 51% at each institution, respectively. However, according to the Spearman test, the result was 0.045, which is greater than 0.05.
