Resultados: No se encontraron diferencias significativas en ambos grupos con respecto a la edad, el sexo y los antecedentes de crisis febril familiar. La presencia de anemia fue del 61% en el grupo de convulsiones y del 31% en el grupo con fiebre sin convulsiones; habiendo una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los dos grupos (p=0, 000) y un OR = 3, 481 (IC 95%, 1, 941 – 6, 243). Conclusiones: La Anemia sí es un factor asociado a Convulsión Febril en lactantes y preescolares.
