Los hallazgos indican que el 58% de los profesionales de enfermería mantiene un conocimiento bueno sobre el cuidado de la vía aérea en el paciente, el 55% reporta un cuidado alto sobre la vía aérea en el paciente, y que existe una correlación positiva (r=.702), además de significativa (p<.001) entre el nivel de conocimiento y la calidad de cuidado de la vía aérea en pacientes con tubo endotraqueal
