El tipo de investigación fue básica, no experimental, descriptivo transversal y con diseño correlacional. La muestra estuvo constituida por 87 niños y niñas del nivel inicial. La técnica fue la encuesta y los instrumentos fueron dos cuestionarios con escala ordinal. Para la confiabilidad de los instrumentos se utilizó el alfa de Cronbach, obteniéndose como resultado 0, 947 para la variable habilidades sociales y 0,971 para la variable juegos cooperativos. La validez de juicio de expertos, en ambos instrumentos, concluyó que, los instrumentos fueron aplicables. Los resultados determinaron que, en las habilidades sociales, 94.3% presenta nivel bueno y 5.7% nivel regular. Así mismo, en los juegos cooperativos, 95.4% obtuvieron nivel bueno y 4.6% nivel regular. Por otro lado, la prueba no paramétrica coeficiente Rho Spearman, demuestra que, (p-valor: 0,000<0,05), en consecuencia, se acepta la hipótesis de investigación (Hi) y se rechaza la hipótesis nula (Ho), se concluye que, existe relación significativa entre las habilidades sociales y los juegos cooperativos en niños y niñas de 5 años en las Instituciones Educativas privadas, Trujillo 2023

The type of research was basic, non experimental, descriptive cross-sectional and with a correlational. The sample consisted of 87 boys and girls from the initial level. The technique was the survey and the instruments were two questionnaires with an ordinal scale. For the reliability of the instruments, Cronbach's alpha was used, obtaining a result of 0.947 for the social skills variable and 0.971 for the cooperative games variable. The validity of expert judgment in both instruments concluded that the instruments were applicable. The results determined that, in social skills, 94.3% have a good level and 5.7% have a regular level. Likewise, in cooperative games, 95.4% obtained a good level and 4.6% obtained a regular level.
