La presente tesis tiene como objetivo diseñar un proyecto arquitectónico para un Complejo de Integración Sociocultural en la ciudad de Paita, promoviendo el desarrollo cultural de sus habitantes. La investigación es de tipo no experimental, descriptiva, transversal y con enfoque mixto, combinando métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos para comprender las necesidades de la población y sustentar el diseño propuesto. Se tuvo como resultado la ubicación estratégica del proyecto tras un análisis del entorno, considerando zonificación, accesibilidad, servicios e infraestructura existente. Asimismo, la propuesta arquitectónica refleja la identidad sociocultural de Paita, se adapta a la topografía e incorpora estrategias sostenibles que equilibran el desarrollo urbano con la preservación ambiental. También se determinaron las necesidades de los usuarios, lo que permitió estructurar un programa arquitectónico con áreas administrativas, socioculturales y servicios complementarios. Como conclusión, el proyecto contribuye a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes, ofreciendo un espacio funcional, inclusivo y coherente con su contexto. El aporte principal de esta tesis consiste en brindar una propuesta arquitectónica integral que responde a las carencias culturales y sociales de la ciudad, generando un espacio de integración, participación ciudadana y fortalecimiento del tejido social en Paita |

The research is non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional, and based on a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to understand the population’s needs and support the proposed design. As a result, the project was strategically located after a thorough contextual analysis, considering zoning, accessibility, infrastructure, and available services. The architectural proposal reflects the socio-cultural identity of Paita, adapts to the site’s topography, and incorporates sustainable strategies to balance urban development with environmental preservation. User needs were identified, which allowed the development of an architectural program including administrative, socio-cultural, and complementary service areas. In conclusion, the project contributes to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants by providing a functional, inclusive, and contextually coherent space.
