Además, cuando se evaluó el tiempo de ejercicio profesional (p= 0.627>0.05), el género (p=0.058>0.05) y la universidad de procedencia (p= 0.827>0.05), no se encontró diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los grupos. Conclusión: Se concluye que el nivel de conocimiento de los cirujanos dentistas sobre el maltrato infantil en la ciudad de Trujillo es regular; y que el tiempo de ejercicio profesional, la universidad de procedencia y el género de los cirujanos dentistas no condicionan el nivel de conocimiento que estos posean.
