description El presente trabajo de investigación busca generar conciencia e identidad ambiental en la población de Piura, acerca de la importancia y la preservación de los recursos naturales existentes del Parque Kurt Beer, por medio de actividades interpretativas, culturales y de educación ambiental. Para ello, se plantea la propuesta de un Centro de Interpretación y Educación Ambiental, como una solución arquitectónica sostenible, que contemple espacios de educación e interpretación ambiental que permitan fortalecer la relación entre el hombre y la naturaleza. El proyecto, a su vez, tiene como objetivos, emplazarse sobre el medio natural, respetando la vegetación existente para afectarlo lo menos posible y con la aplicación técnicas de preservación y reciclaje de los recursos naturales, contemplados en el diseño del proyecto, den como resultado espacios integrados con la naturaleza que respondan a los requerimientos de los visitantes.
