La muestra estuvo constituida por 92 madres adolescentes primíparas y su recién nacido, para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos, el primero para determinar la adopción del rol materno en madres adolescentes y el segundo sobre el nivel de vinculación madre adolescente – recién nacido. Se encuentra que el 23,91% de las madres adolescentes primíparas presentaron buena adopción del rol materno; el 63,04% regular y el 13,05% malo. En lo referente al nivel de vinculación madre adolescente – recién nacido, se evidencia que el 46,74% presentaron un nivel de vinculación bueno, y el 53.26% presentaron regular nivel de vinculación con su recién nacido; asimismo se determinó que entre ambas variables existe relación estadística significativa (p < 0.05).
