description La empresa Factoría Industrial S.A.C. dedicada al rubo metalmecánico, principalmente a la fabricación y mantenimiento de estructuras metálicas y componentes de la industria minera, ha crecido a lo largo de estos últimos cinco años, y dada la necesidad de contar con mayor recurso humano los accidentes de trabajo también se incrementaron. Esta tesis presenta un diseño de mejora basado en la implementación de un sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo basándose en la norma internacional OHSAS.18001:2007, y se desarrolla con la finalidad de comprobar que mantener un sistema de prevención agrega valor a nivel organizacional, beneficios a los trabajadores y económicos, a su vez, la importancia de hacer valer la ley 29783. Este diseño propuesto tiene como objetivo reducir significativamente los índices de accidentabilidad y la severidad de cada uno de estos, en el último año se registraron los siguientes indicadores, índice de frecuencia 741.76, índice de gravedad 2.45 y accidentabilidad IA 154.29 tiene un enfoque en la mejora de procesos bajo un análisis de causa raíz, iniciando por un diagnóstico general de las etapas del proceso productivo, identificando peligros y riesgos asociados en cada uno de estos y relacionándolos con las formas de accidentes ocurridos, proponiendo así las acciones de mejora correspondientes, siendo eficientes para su aplicación sin complicar la ejecución de sus actividades. This thesis presents an improvement design based on the implementation of a management system for extreme occupational health and safety in the international standard OHSAS 18001:2007, and is developed with the purpose to verify that maintaining a prevention system adds value at the organizational level, benefits to workers and economic benefits, in turn, the importance of enforcing Law 29783. The objective of this proposed design is to significantly reduce the accident rates and the severity of each of these. In the last year the following indicators were recorded: frequency rates 741.76, severity rate 2.45 and accident rate IA 154.29 has a focus in the improvement of processes under a root cause analysis, starting with a general diagnosis of the stages of the production process, identifying hazards and associated risks in each of these and relating them to the forms of accidents that have occurred, thus proposing improvement actions being efficient for its application without complicating the execution of its activities.
