La presente investigación fue realizada con la finalidad de investigar las diferencias en las dimensiones de personalidad entre estudiantes de 1ero y 5to de secundaria de una institución educativa de Piura. Es una investigación no experimental-descriptivo comparativo de corte transversal, se trabajó con una población muestral conformada por 484 estudiantes con edades entre 12 a 17 años. El instrumento utilizado fue el “16 PF v.5.0”, en su versión adaptada por Nicolás Seisdedos Cubero (2011). En los resultados se observa que las estudiantes del 1ero y 5to de secundaria en la escala de Extraversión, se halla un P valor de .449 (p<=0,05), con un nivel de significancia del 0,05%, resulta no significativo, por lo tanto, no existen diferencias entre ambos grupos; Ansiedad se halla un P valor de .662 (p<=0;05), con un nivel de significancia del 0,05%, resulta no significativo, por lo tanto, no existen diferencias entre ambos grupos. Además, la escala Dureza se halla un valor de .297 (p<=0;05) con un nivel de significancia del 0,05%, resulta no significativo, por lo tanto, no existen diferencias entre ambos grupos. Asimismo, la escala de Independencia, se halla un P valor de .006 (0,05<=p), con un nivel de significancia del 0,05%, resulta significativo, por lo tanto, si existen diferencias entre ambos grupos. It is a non-experimental, descriptive-comparative, cross-sectional study, working with a sample population of 484 students aged between 12 to 17 years. The instrument used was the ""16 PF v.5.0,"" adapted by Nicolás Seisdedos Cubero (2011). The results show that for 7th and 11th-grade students on the Extraversion scale, a P-value of .449 (p<=0.05) was found, with a significance level of 0.05%, which is not significant, therefore, there are no differences between the two groups; for the Anxiety scale, a P-value of .662 (p<=0.05) was found, with a significance level of 0.05%, which is not significant, therefore, there are no differences between the two groups.
