La investigación se enmarcó en un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal, de naturaleza básica con un enfoque cuantitativo y un nivel descriptivo correlacional, considerando como muestra de estudio a 201 alumnos y 201 padres de familia. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos instrumentos: la ficha de observación ""Hábitos de autonomía en niños(as) del nivel inicial (ciclo II)"" y el cuestionario ""Amor o cuidados desmedidos"", aplicando en ambos la escala de Likert. La manipulación estadística se llevó a cabo mediante tablas de distribución de frecuencias, gráficos de barras y su correspondiente interpretación. Con respecto a la validación, se aplicó el método de Spearman, obteniéndose rs = - 0.267, con un p = 0.000 < 0.05, lo cual indicó que hubo una relación negativa baja e inversa entre la variable de sobreprotección y la autonomía en los niños del nivel inicia. Se concluyó que existe una relación significativa entre ambas variables, destacando la importancia de brindar una protección pertinente para ayudar a lograr una autonomía eficiente

The issue arose through the observation of children who exhibited low autonomy. The research was framed in a non-experimental, cross-sectional design, of a basic nature with a quantitative approach and a descriptive-correlational level, considering a sample of 201 students and 201 parents. Two instruments were used for data collection: the observation sheet ""Habits of autonomy in early childhood education (cycle II)"" and the questionnaire ""Love or excessive care,"" both using the Likert scale.Statistical manipulation was carried out using frequency distribution tables, bar charts, and their corresponding interpretation. Regarding validation, the Spearman method was applied, obtaining rs = -0.267, with a p = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a low negative and inverse relationship between the variable of overprotection and autonomy in early childhood education children.
