El estudio retrospectivo, transversal, descriptivo, observacional se desarrolló en el Centro Radiológico Digital Dent de Trujillo e incluyó un total de 77 radiografías cefalométricas elegidas al azar. Para determinar la relación entre la base craneal anterior y posterior con el biotipo facial y relación esquelética se recogió la información que fue procesada por tablas estadísticas, utilizando el método coeficiente de correlación de Spearman. Se consideraró un nivel de significancia del 5%. Los resultados nos permiten concluir que no existe relación entre la base craneal anterior y posterior con el biotipo facial y relación esquelética en sujetos de 11 a 35 años de edad.

The retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, observational study was carried out at the Digital Dent Radiological Center in Trujillo and included a total of 77 cephalometric radiographs chosen at random. To determine the relationship between the anterior and posterior cranial base with the facial biotype and skeletal relationship, we collected the information that was processed by statistical tables, using the Spearman correlation coefficient method. A significance level of 5% was considered.
