Resultando que, existe relación entre violencia de pareja y dependencia emocional (p=.000), tipo positiva con efecto muy alto (rho=.830**). A la vez los estudiantes de psicología en dependencia emocional presentan un nivel alto con un 37.4% y el 29.7% en un nivel bajo. En cuanto a la variable violencia de pareja el 40.1% se ubica en la categoría alta, el 26.6% en la categoría media y el 33.3% en baja. Concluyendo que la dependencia emocional se relaciona con la violencia percibida en la pareja

It is a substantive study of a descriptive correlational design. A total of 222 students from the VIII, IX, and X cycles of psychology participated. The Emotional Dependency Scale (ACCA) by Anicama et al. (2013) and the Dating Violence Questionnaire (CUVINO) by Rodríguez et al. (2010) were administered. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between partner violence and emotional dependency (p=.000), specifically a strong positive relationship with a very high effect size (rho=.830**). Additionally, it was found that psychology students exhibit a high level of emotional dependency in 37.4% of cases and a low level in 29.7% of cases. As for the partner violence variable, 40.1% fell into the high category, 26.6% in the medium category, and 33.3% in the low category.
