Resultados: No se registraron diferencias significativas en relación a edad o procedencia entre los grupos de estudio. La frecuencia de multiparidad en gestantes con enfermedad trofoblástica gestacional fue de 32%. La frecuencia de multiparidad en gestantes sin enfermedad trofoblástica gestacional fue de 8%. La multiparidad es factor de riesgo asociado a enfermedad trofoblástica gestacional con un odss ratio de 5.41 el cual fue significativo (p<0.05). Conclusiones: La multiparidad es factor de riesgo para enfermedad trofoblástica gestacional en el Hospital Belén de Trujillo.
