Se evaluó la asociación entre factores sociodemográficos, personales/familiares de COVID-19 y de salud y la mala adherencia al TARGA. Para el análisis de independencia entre las variables exposición y resultado se utilizó la prueba de Chi Cuadrado de Pearson, considerando significancia estadística para un valor p < 0,05. Se consideró como estadígrafo de riesgo al odds ratio (OR). Resultados: La prevalencia de mala adherencia al TARGA en pacientes con VIH fue del 32%. La media de edad fue de 45,8±8,3 y 44,6±7,3 años en los participantes con mala y buena adherencia al TARGA respectivamente. Predominó el sexo masculino (67% con mala adherencia y 63% con buena adherencia al TARGA). Fueron factores asociados a mala adherencia a TARGA: vivir solo y tener COVID-19 (OR 3,1 y 2,42; p<0,05), depresión y comorbilidad (OR 2,18 y 2,21; p<0,05) y tener un familiar cercano con COVID-19 (OR 3,42 p<0,05). Conclusión: El vivir solo, el tener COVID-19, la depresión, el presentar comorbilidad y el tener un familiar cercano con COVID-19 son factores asociados a una mala adherencia al TARGA en personas infectadas por VIH. |

Material and methods: A cross-sectional analytical study was developed in 162 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of HIV infection on HAART. The association between sociodemographic, personal/family COVID-19, and health factors and poor adherence to HAART was evaluated. For the analysis of independence between the exposure and outcome variables, the Pearson Chi Square test was used, considering statistical significance for a p value < 0.05. The odds ratio (OR) was considered as a risk statistic. Results: The prevalence of poor adherence to HAART in patients with HIV was 32%. The mean age was 45,8±8,3 and 44,6±7,3 years in the participants with poor and good adherence to HAART, respectively. The male sex predominated (67% with poor adherence and 63% with good adherence to HAART. Factors associated with poor adherence to HAART were living alone and having COVID-19 (OR 3,1 and 2,42; p<0,05), depression and comorbidity (OR 2,18 and 2,21; p<0,05) and having a close relative with COVID-19 (OR 3,42 p<0,05).
