Actualmente, solo el 0.7% de las instituciones educativas en Perú son accesibles para personas con discapacidad, y en La Libertad, el 88% de la población con discapacidad está excluida de la educación formal. El centro se diseñará para promover una educación inclusiva, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de estudiantes con diversas discapacidades, desde las leves hasta las severas. El proyecto incorporará un enfoque sensorial, utilizando los cinco sentidos en la arquitectura, para generar experiencias que favorezcan el aprendizaje y el bienestar de los estudiantes. Se integrarán espacios adecuados para el Programa de Intervención Temprana (PRITE) y el Centro Tecnológico Productivo (CETPRO), buscando mejorar la calidad del servicio educativo y garantizar la funcionalidad, habitabilidad y seguridad de los ambientes
