Descripción
Sumario:This thesis entitled "Influence of the lunar phases in the production of growingcucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) using the hybrid F-1 Slicer in the province of Lamas, San Martin Department, aimed to assess the production according to the lunar phases and determine the proper lunar phase in relation to productivity. The research was conducted between the months of March to June 2011, at the Horticultural Fundo "The Pacific" owned by Mr. Jorge Luis Peláez Rivera, located in the district of Lamas. We used the design of completely randomized blocks with 4 treatments and 4 blocks. Planting was done in the exact date that happened each moon phase and in the morning, and with the support of a Tacarpo to two inches deep, placed one seed per hole, being used a planting distance 0.55 m. between twin row x 0.54 m. between plants and 1.00 m., between two rows twins. He joined manure at 15 t/ha. The parameters studied were: plant height (cm), number of harvested fruits, fruit length and diameter (cm), incidence of pests and diseases and the economic analysis of each treatment studied. The results indicate that the highest profits were obtained in treatments T2 (full moon) and T4 (New Moon) with S /. 26 185.14 and S /. 17 881.74 PEN, respectively, and a benefit/cost of 3.22 and 2.67 respectively.
