| Sumario: | The leaf of banana (Musa plll'adisiaca) has been evaluated its physical and chemical propierties, taking samples in two period of development before flowering and a:fter frutffication the chemical analysis gave an average result in the diff erent fibers evaluated contained before flowering period the following 55, 75% cellulose, 15,28% hemicellulose, 12,24% ligo.in, 14,47% extract and 2, 76% ashes. While in the after fructification period I had obtained best results with regard cellulose was 66,68%, hemicellulose 7,56%, lignin 9,58% extract 14,32% and 2,39% ashes Doing the paragraph what the fiber correspond 93% of cellulose in hollocellulose. Ali chemical analysis realized were refered in dryed sample The physical attempt that involved the determination in diameter average, lenght, elasticity module, resistance to the tensión, moisture, density and color were evaluated in wet sample. Before flowering I obtained an average diameter 0,056 mm, lenght 560 mm, elasticity module 34,421 MN/m2, resistance to the tensión 416 MN/m2, moisture contain 7,05% density 2,34rriWm3 • In another direction after fructification I had gotten an average diameter 0,058 mm, lenght 650 mm, elasticity module 57,024 MN/m2, resistence to the tension 690 :MN/m2, moisture contain 6,19% density 2,48 mg/m3 • Evaluations what I have concluded in the obtains of a quality fiber with uses as handmade and/or manufacturer in areas like textile, cord, pulp of paper, manufacture of mat and so forth. |
