Sumario:Advances in materials technology, which has made possible the obtaining of specific con· a strength of 800 kg/cm2 and even higher, have also given rise to the achievement of a more durable and more resistant to corrosion and abrasion than conventional concrete. The engineers are analyzing and valuing such advantages to expand extensively the degree of application of these specific. This expansion brought with them greater responsibility and careful attention in the dosage of the concrete, specifications, development and testing, as well as a greater need for coordination and communication between designers and builders of structures. In our environment, there are no serious studies on the design of concrete of medium strength using aggregates of two different quarries and also additives, dosing is empirically measured after placed concrete, then getting into those very poor resistance of up to 175 kg/cm2; newly...
