Otro aspecto preocupante es la corrupción política que pone en riesgo la gobernabilidad En el Perú estos delitos han crecido exageradamente, habiendo reforzado la capacidad de prevención y control de las autoridades. Por diferentes partidos así como la actual gobierno han delineado políticas para garantizar la seguridad ciudadana, empeño, los esfuerzos que despliegan son insuficientes. Se hace necesario que todos los sectores de la sociedad participen en esta gran tarea de prevención y control de delito, para asegurar el desarrollo del país y propiedad de sus habitantes
