Methodology: Qualitative research, descriptive. Scenery: Emergency service of Victor Lazarte Echegaray hospital; Participants: six nurses, selected with convenience and saturation tecniques. The Collection of speeches in depth interviews and analysis with thematic analysis. Results: Two categories and subcategories: Category 1. Nursing care to the user as a priority I and II; subcategories: 1.1 time and space that direct nursing care and 1.2 symbolisms and pluralitiesinthe sense of nurse in the care of the user in the emergency. Category 2.nursing care to the user as a priority III and IV; 2.1 subcategories nursing care in (un) enough space and time and 2.2 nurse and family involvement in care of the user. Final considerations: The nursing careto the userin the emergency service, is performed according to the priority that the user requires, showing efficiency, speed and observation skills to meet the needs. There is frustration and impotence by the insufficient number of nurses, the high demand from patients (20 to 30) and inadequate resources that encourage patients demand.

Objetivo: describir y analizar el cotidiano de la enfermera en el cuidado al usuario del servicio de emergencia. Teóricos: Lefebvre para el cotidiano y Waldow para el cuidado de enfermería. Metodología: Investigación cualitativa, descriptiva. Escenario: servicio de emergencia del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray; participantes: seis enfermeras, seleccionadas con técnica por conveniencia y saturación. Recolección de discursos con entrevista a profundidad y el análisis con el análisis temático. Resultados: dos categorías y subcategorías: categoría 1. cuidado de enfermería al usuario con prioridad I y II; subcategorías: 1.1 tiempo y espacio que direccionan el cuidado de enfermería y 1.2 simbolismos y pluralidades del sentido de la enfermera en el cuidado al usuario de emergencia. Categoría 2. cuidado de enfermería al usuario con prioridad III y IV; subcategorías 2.1 cuidado de enfermería en el espacio y tiempo (in)suficiente y 2.2 enfermería y la participación de la familia en cuidado al usuario. Consideraciones finales: El cuidado de enfermería al usuario del servicio de emergencia, se realiza según la prioridad en que se encuentra el usuario, mostrando eficiencia, rapidez y capacidad de observación para satisfacer sus necesidades.
