Sumario:This research was aimed at determining whether formulations dispensed Ciprofloxacin injection in hospital in the city of Trujillo a specialty pharmaceutical comply with the parameters of concentration of active ingredient indicated by the Pharmacopoeia Official USP XXIII, also make the identification of the active, identify and compare its antibacterial activity compared to crops S. aureus and E. coli. In the determination of equivalence chemical was used ultraviolet spectrophotometric method being the percentage of active ingredient Roemmers 102%, Bestpharma 99.9% and 101.65% Medifarma. The determination of the antibacterial activity was carried out using the technique of agar diffusion method according to Kirby and Bauer aplicándo the result of the statistical treatment analysis of variance (ANOVA) and compare averages by significant differential with a minimum level of significance 5%, found that there was no statistically significant difference
