Sumario:This research has been aimed at identifying azo dyes in wine made in Cascas that are expended in warehouses. For this purpose 20 samples of red wines sold in the district of Cascas were collected. Initially qualitative analysis of samples was performed to determine the existence of artificial colors using the method Aratta Posseto, it is based on dye uptake by strands of natural white wool in acid and then extracting the dye from the wool in the middle ammoniacal. The samples that tested positive were analyzed by qualitative method diazotization of aniline azo dyes for determination
