The purpose of the present investigation is to determine the influence of the Directed Debate in the development of competition and democratically participates in students of the 5th grade of primary education in the Educational Institution No. 81007 Modelo-Trujillo, 2017. The research is of the Cuasiexperimental type with pre-test and post-test applied to approximately 10-year-old girls from Educational Institution No. 81007 Modelo, Trujillo. The results obtained show us that the value of the chi test (11,2026) is greater than the chi table or critical value (5,9915) also, the p value is 0.0037 is less than 0.05 of margin of error; then we reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternative. That is to say that the Directed Debate influenced in the learning of the competition. It coexists and participates democratically in the students of the 5th grade of primary of the educational institution n ° 81007 "Model", Trujillo, 2017. The first chapter describes the general aspects of the research and the in-depth analysis of the theoretical framework. The problem is posed, the general objective and the specific objectives of the present investigation are established. The second chapter refers to the type, design and procedure of the investigation. The third chapter presents the statistical part used. In the fourth chapter the discussion of results is presented and in the last chapter the conclusions to which they arrived with the study. The general objective and the specific objectives of the research are answered; and the recommendations to increase the use of the Debate directed in the students are enunciated.
