Sumario: | This research study arises from the need to implement improvements in the current production system of the body and paint workshop of the company Autonort Trujillo S.A.C. This, through the application of Lean Management to optimize both the production processes, use of equipment and human resources through the elimination of waste and problems present in said process, in order to ensure the competitiveness of the company in the market of automotive that is currently dynamic and variable. The company under study is dedicated to the commercialization of Toyota vehicles, as well as spare parts and after-sales service, bodywork and painting. The objective of this research work is to analyze the current situation of the company under study, find opportunities for improvement, determine the root causes and, through this, propose the implementation of countermeasures that allow improving the quality of the service, reducing downtime and respond quickly to the changing needs of the client in order to improve their competitiveness in the market. The review of historical indicators of productivity, BPUS and the use of the Toyota Business Practice methodology was carried out, based on this, the analysis and development of the necessary tools for the improvement proposal such as Poka Yoke, Kanban System, Jidoka and standardization as a proposed solution to the current problems of the company. With the proposed implementation, a 10% increase in productivity is expected for the first half of 2019. The conclusions of the proposed Lean Management implementation proposal and the recommendations for the support and correct implementation of the tools mentioned in other lines within the company under study are presented. |
