Sumario: | We determined the reduction of noise impacts on the exploitation of limestone in the mine Coimolache, Bambamarca, Cajamarca, Peru 2011 - 2012, the sample consisted of machinery, equipment and mining blasting noise generators, as well as staff the mine. The measurement of noise pollution was performed using SLM (Sound Level Meter), then determined the exposure time (SRT) in noise by staff according to the area, as well as the anxiety level and hearing loss. It was found that the equipment and machinery which generate more noise were a jackhammer IR with a value of 108 dB and rock drill IR 354 with a value of 105 dB. Drilling area (cabin rock drill), where the noise reached 70 dB and a TER of 76 hrs, which indicates a low level of risk. We also found that 47,62% of the staff presented mild anxiety and 42,86% moderate hearing loss. It is concluded that the noise generated by machinery and equipment operating in the area is a health hazard type, requiring a management plan for minimization, was installed mufflers to dump trucks and tractors, was decreased load factor of explosives which originated with loading of blast holes silent on "deck", which reduced the noise and vibration in critical areas. |
