| Sumario: | The purpose of this research work was to elaborate a program "My emotions and I" that contributes to the emotional self-regulation of children in 1st and 2nd grade of an educational institution, Lima, 2020. We worked with a descriptive-propositive design. In order to elaborate the proposal, we started with a diagnosis to know the level of emotional self-regulation in children. The reliability of the questionnaire on Emotional Self-Regulation in 1st and 2nd grade children of the I.E. N°5096 "Hijos de Ventanilla" Lima was elaborated, validated and determined, which was applied to 27 children who made up the sample population. The results confirmed that 56% of the children were located at a low level, in the sense that most of the children have a low command of self-regulation of their own emotions. The proposal of the program "My emotions and I" to stimulate the self-regulation of emotions is based on the contributions of the theories of Goleman, Bisquerra, Mayer and Salovey. |
