ABSTRACT The present investigation has been elaborated with the purpose of determining the Influence of the budget by results in the quality of public expenditure in the Chepén Health Network. The research approach used is quantitative. The type of research is descriptive and correlational. The research design is non-experimental, longitudinal trend. The research methods used were the deductive - inductive and analytical - synthetic. The research technique employed is content analysis. The paradigm of the research used has been the postpositivist and interpretative. During the research study the Executing Unit was taken as a sample: 404-849: Chepén Health Network, official documentary information of the study variables has been compiled, which have been used to prepare the tables and figures presented. It is concluded that the Pearson correlation coefficient is R = -0.793 with level of significance p = 0.000 being this less than 5% (p <0.05) This shows that there is an inverse relationship between the budget for results and the quality of the expenditure of the Chepén Health Network 2007 - 2016. But analyzing the real data used in the Pearson correlation, we can deduce that the budget for results expressed through the budget in real terms favorably influences the quality of public expenditure expressed in the prevalence of chronic malnutrition in children under 5 years of age in the Chepén Health Network 2007-2016. It is recommended that the Chepén Health Network should deepen the implementation of the budget by results, improving the allocation of public resources towards measurable products and activities in favor of the population.
