We realized a study of retrospective kind, diagnosis of cases in Belen hospital of Trujillo during 2011, with the Target to determined the risk factors that influence in the show or not in the stomach cancer in the patients of Belen hospital during 2011._x000D_ The muestra is around 125 patients that have the requirement of inclusion and exclusion. The statistic study of the results was realized through the logistic regression to know which are the risks factors of stomach cancer of the patients in gastroenterologia of the Belen Hospital of Trujillo. The results indicate that the factors that significantly influence the presence of gastric cancer are Helicobacter pylori infection (OR = 80.57, p = 0.00), snuff consumption (OR = 11.234, p = 0.04), alcohol consumption (OR = 9.657 , p = 0.005), family history (OR = 5.036, p = 0.046). The final result of this work shows the percentage forecast has been classified correctly in 91.2%
