“Efectividad de un programa educativo en el conocimiento sobre violencia en mujeres integrantes de un grupo de apoyo”

ABSTRACT The research study, of a pre-experimental type, was carried out in the Support Group of the San Crispín Community Mental Health Center, El Porvenir 2018, with the purpose of determining the effectiveness of an educational program "Sowing my Future" at the level of knowledge about violence. The sample consisted of 20 adult women. For the collection of data, two instruments were applied, the educational program "Sembrando mi Futuro" and the level of knowledge about violence (NCSV). The data collected were processed in SPSS Statistics 25 and analyzed by means of the statistical approval "t de Student". The results are presented in uni and bivariate statistical tables; after the analysis, the following conclusions were reached: Before the application of the program, 45 percent of women had a medium level of knowledge. After the application, 85 percent of women achieved a high level of knowledge. The educational program was effective in improving the level of knowledge of women (t = -46.455 and p = 0.000 <0.05), being highly significant.
