| Sumario: | The objective of the present investigation was to determine the selection of personnel to improve the quality of the service of the Public Services Management of the District Municipality of Huamachuco. For this, a probabilistic sample of 342 inhabitants was obtained from the 41295 that live in the city of Huamachuco. In the hypothesis test, a descriptive - comparative type design was used. The collection of information was through a survey consisting of 20 questions applied to the inhabitants of the city of Huamachuco and an interview consisting of 10 questions applied to the Public Services Manager of the District Municipality of Huamachuco. The results indicate that the correct selection of personnel favorably affects the quality of the service of the Public Services Management of the District Municipality of Huamachuco. This is corroborated by the Spearman correlation coefficient (r = 0.536) which indicates a statistically significant effect (p <0.05) on the part of the selection of personnel on the quality of service. In view of this, the Human Resource area should plan, program and detail more efficient evaluation indicators that contribute to improving the daily work processes, being part of the fulfillment of strategic objectives at the institutional level, to reach the quality levels according to the requirements of competitiveness according to the areas of competence and coverage of the institution. |
