Descripción
Sumario:Transversal study carried out between November 2014 and April 2015 in the Regional Hospital of Trujillo in 133 stable elders, aged ≥ 60 years, valued at a consultation of Internal Medicine and in order to determine the correlation between creatinine clearance (CCI) with the formulas HUGE and CDK-EPI in the assessment of renal function in elderly. The average age was 68.6 ± 8.22.la most prevalent disease in the population was high blood pressure followed by diabetes mellitus. Serum creatinine levels are 1, 56 ± 1.32 mg / dl (range: 0, 5-6.2) and the prevalence of chronic renal failure was 53.38% according to the creatinine clearance. The Kappa value is 0.57 HUGE CCl with CKD-EPI and 0.49, comparing samples also related through the McNemar test (p <0.05) was performed. Most correlation between formula HUGE and creatinine clearance with CDK- EPI makes it preferable to use as IRC detection screening in elderly patients as the only manifestation of kidney disease is the presence of less than 60ml / min FG
