Descripción
Sumario:The present correlational descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with the purpose of determining the relationship between work stress and humanized care of the nurse in the emergency service of the Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray 2018, a sample population of 40 nursing professionals(s) working in the aforementioned service was selected, to whom two questionnaires were applied: the first was the Stress Assessment Scale of the nurse, an instrument developed by Ivancevich, 1989 and the second instrument was Assessment of Humanized Nursing Care, an instrument developed by Cleary (1995), for the ratio of variables, the Spearman rho or Pearson r statistical test was used; reaching the following results, 50% of nurses have a high and regular level of work stress, no low level of work stress is recorded. Humanized care is considered at 95% and 5% of middle level, while the low level is 0%. Finally, there is a significant relationship between work stress and humanized care, 45% as a result of regular work stress and high humanized care, and 5% when care is regular; while when work stress is high humanized care is also high by 50%, therefore there is significance and direct relationship.
