Objective: To determine the sensitivity and specificity of PE and CXR as a diagnostic test for CAP in preschool children. Methodology: A cross-sectional analytical observational study of Comparison of tests or diagnostic tests will be carried out. |

A pesar de que en niños su diagnóstico es clínico, los estudios imagenológicos son comúnmente usados para facilitar su diagnóstico oportuno y tratamiento precoz. Como primera línea se usa la radiografía de tórax. Sin embargo, en los últimos años la ecografía pulmonar ha cobrado importancia y ha fomentado la investigación en el ámbito pediátrico, al ser un estudio fácil de realizar, no invasivo, sin riesgo de irradiación para los pacientes. Objetivo: Determinar la sensibilidad y especificidad de la EP y de la RxT como prueba diagnóstica para NAC en preescolares.
