Esta tesis se desarrolló en la provincia de Nasca, distrito de Vista Alegre, perteneciente al centro poblado de Taruga, tuvo como principal objetivo realizar el análisis espacial del sitio arqueológico Taruga y su relación con la identificación de su espacio arquitectónico, durante el periodo de tiempo del intermedio tardío, conforme a los resultados de los materiales culturales hallados en superficie, entre ellas tenemos, estructuras, fragmentos de cerámica, artefactos y entre otras evidencias, las cuales se distribuyen en cada espacio arquitectónico, estableciéndose también una relación con el paisaje cultural, todo ello es producto de las prospecciones en cada sector y a su vez de los análisis comparativos realizados; el registro de material fue insitu, no se realizo la recolección material arqueológico. La metodología empleada fue de carácter deductivo de tipo interpretativo descriptivo, no experimental. Esta investigación es importante, dado que contribuye con información inédita sobre el uso y función de las estructuras, a través del análisis espacial del sitio arqueológico Taruga. Del mismo modo, se evidenció que, el espacio geográfico tuvo influencia sobre la distribución de los espacios, encontrándose ambientes urbanos subdivididas en áreas domésticas y públicas como plazas, calles y terrazas. Se demostró en esta tesis, la gran importancia que tuvo el sitio arqueológico de Taruga, por medio de un análisis sistemático del entorno espacial, está teniendo como base la identificación y relación de los espacios arquitectónicos, por lo tanto, se determinó que el sitio presenta una expansión de Este a oeste; el sector I presenta mayormente elementos culturales asociados al intermedio tardío; el sector II presenta dos periodos de tiempo conforme a los elementos culturales hallados insitu, de las cuales son Nasca tardío e Intermedio Tardío; mientras que el sector III presenta mayor evidencia del periodo Nasca Tardío. Por otro lado, se espera que, más adelante, se profundice en los estudios, a través de excavaciones en área, con el fin de contrastar los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación, de esta manera se podrá saber más sobre el sistema constructivo del sitio arqueológico Taruga. Asimismo, esta investigación aportará información sobre el desarrollo social de sitios monumentales en el área de la cuenca de Río Grande. ----- This thesis was developed in the province of Nasca, district of Vista Alegre, belonging to the town center of Taruga, its main objective was to carry out the spatial analysis of the Taruga archaeological site and its relationship with the identification of its architectural space, during the period of time. from the late intermediate, according to the results of the cultural materials found on the surface, among them we have structures, ceramic fragments, artifacts and among other evidence, which are distributed in each architectural space, also establishing a relationship with the cultural landscape, All of this is a product of the surveys in each sector and in turn of the comparative analyzes carried out; The registration of material was in situ, the collection of archaeological material was not carried out. This research is important, since it contributes with unpublished information on the use and function of the structures, through the spatial analysis of the Taruga archaeological site. Likewise, it is evident that the geographical space had an influence on the distribution of spaces, finding urban environments subdivided into domestic and public areas such as squares, streets and terraces. It is demonstrated in this thesis, the great importance that the Taruga archaeological site had, through a systematic analysis of the spatial environment, is based on the identification and relationship of the architectural spaces, therefore, it is determined that the site presents an expansion from east to west; The sector mostly presented cultural elements associated with the late intermediate; Sector II presents two time periods according to the cultural elements found in situ, of which are Late Nasca and Late Intermediate; while sector III presents greater evidence of the Late Nasca period. On the other hand, it is expected that, later, the studies will be deepened, through area excavations, in order to contrast the results obtained in this research, in this way you will be able to know more about the construction system of the archaeological site. Taruga. Likewise, this research will provide information on the social development of monumental sites in the Rio Grande basin area.
