Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y practicas sobre el autoexamen de mama en estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico Juan XXIII de Ica, 2022. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, nivel de investigación relacional, tipo de investigación: observacional, prospectivo, transversal con diseño no experimental - correlacional. Se trabajó con una muestra de 143 estudiantes. Se utilizó como instrumento la técnica de la encuesta. Para el análisis descriptivo se utilizaron frecuencias absolutas y acumuladas. Para establecer la correlación entre las variables se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica de Rho de Spearman. El nivel de correlación entre las variables: conocimiento y prácticas sobre el autoexamen de mama en estudiantes del Instituto de Educación superior Pedagógico Juan XXIII de Ica, 2022. Se puede observar la existencia de una relación media y positiva entre ambas variables con un valor de rho = ,419** y significancia bilateral p=,000. Existe una correlación media y positiva entre las variables conocimiento y las practicas sobre el autoexamen de mama en estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico Juan XXIII de Ica, 2022. Lo que expresaría que hay influencia sobre las prácticas adecuadas del examen de mama respecto al conocimiento que posea el sujeto. ----- to determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and practices on breast self-examination in students of the Juan XXIII Institute of Higher Pedagogical Education of Ica, 2022. The study had a quantitative approach, level of relational research, type of research: observational, prospective, cross-sectional with a non-experimental - correlational design. We worked with a sample of 143 students. The survey technique was used as an instrument. For the descriptive analysis, absolute and cumulative frequencies were used. To establish the correlation between the variables, the non-parametric Spearman's Rho test was used. The level of correlation between the variables: knowledge and practices on breast self-examination in students of the Juan XXIII Pedagogical Institute of Higher Education in Ica, 2022. The existence of a medium and positive relationship between both variables can be observed with a value of rho = .419** and bilateral significance p=.000. There is a medium and positive correlation between the knowledge variables and the practices on breast self-examination in students of the Juan XXIII Institute of Higher Pedagogical Education of Ica, 2022. This would express that there is an influence on the adequate practices of the breast examination regarding knowledge that the subject possesses.
